The Italian couturier Roberto Cavalli admitted to tricking anti-fur advocate Christina Aguilera into wearing real fur onstage even though he was instructed by Aguilera not to include any real animal fur for the singer's current world tour.
Aguilera was tipped off by PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) vice president Dan Mathews who sent her an e-mail with a link to a video showing foxes getting killed by anal electrocution.
The singer quickly responded, saying she that was "very upset" and insisted that she "only ever wears fake fur".
The stole has now been replaced with a fake fur version in time for gigs in Switzerland, Austria and the Czech Republic this month.
Why Roberto Cavalli would have done this is totally beyond me !?
