Jessica Simpson is considering adopting a child.

I had been wondering why so many celebrities are choosing to adopt instead of having children of their own.

I considered 'not wanting to spoil their figures' or even the altruistic "better to adopt a child instead of bringing another one into the world".

But then I read ....

"It seems Jessica Simpson, who split from Nick Lachey in November 2005 is scared of the birth pain and she plans to adopt two children".

The singer/actress says the "Hollywood celebrity Angelina Jolie has inspired me to consider adoption and I'm determined to follow her adoption dreams and am seriously considering adopting".

I have even heard of Celebs who have had babies saying "breast feeding is for animals and not for us'.

What the hell is going on here ? Having babies and feeding them used to be a 'normal' thing for women to do !!
