Katie Holmes has apparently been ordered to cut down on her shopping sprees by her husband Tom Cruise.
The actress had evidently been spending a small fortune at Barneys and Bonpoint in Los Angeles and not surprisingly Tom wasn't too happy about it.
A source commented "Tom wants her to take a break as he thinks it might be sending out the wrong message".
The Batman Begins star has been frequently spotted out shopping with close friend Victoria Beckham who is set to move to LA soon and Katie was recently photographed carrying five bags of clothes for her daughter Suri, who is 11 months old.
