Mischa Barton is to be the new face of a safe sun campaign.
The British born actress who shot to fame in "The OC" is to front a new campaign by the Institute of Cancer Research and Superdrug.
Mischa will pose for store posters and stress the importance of protection from the sun's rays.
The 21-year-old actress stressed that the campaign is important to her.
"I spend a lot of my life in the sun and know how important it is to be sun aware and to protect your skin".
