Uma Thurman who was nominated for an Oscar for her Pulp Fiction performance has announced her engagement to financier Arpad Busson.
The couple, who were guests at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday dinner on Wednesday, announced their engagement in the Times newspaper.
It will be Thurman's third marriage and she was previously married to the actor Ethan Hawke, with whom she has two children and to the actor Gary Oldman.
Arpad Busson split up from the supermodel Elle Macpherson in 2005 and they have two sons.
