Uma Thurman who was nominated for an Oscar for her Pulp Fiction performance has announced her engagement to financier Arpad Busson.
The couple, who were guests at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday dinner on Wednesday, announced their engagement in the Times newspaper.
It will be Thurman's third marriage and she was previously married to the actor Ethan Hawke, with whom she has two children and to the actor Gary Oldman.
Arpad Busson split up from the supermodel Elle Macpherson in 2005 and they have two sons.
The 15-year-old star of 'Hannah Montana' Miley Cyrus says that she refuses to calm her "crazy" ways when considering potential boyfriends.
Miley caused a controversy after she posed topless for US magazine and Vanity Fair and says, "I'm too much to handle right now. I can't be quiet and cute for boys and I have to be a bit crazy".
She also revealed to 'Top of the Pops' magazine, "It was so embarrassing, when I first moved to Los Angeles, I had a crush on Jesse McCartney. In fact, the first song I ever wrote was about Jesse. He was on my show and I told him, and he was like, 'That's so cute!' ".
She insists however that she no longer has a crush on celebrities because "they're all getting old" but did make one exception.
"Orlando Bloom is gorgeous but he's a bit of a player".

The actress, Kate Beckinsale says that her nine-year-old daughter Lily has no interest in seeing her mother on the screen no matter how much she tries to convince her otherwise.
Kate said, "She won't watch any of them, not any! We tried it actually when we were on holiday and 'Van Helsing' was on pay-per-view and Lily was like, 'No, no, no!' She likes 'Some Like It Hot' - that's her favorite movie".
She went on to add, "I miss the time Lily was completely dependant on me and I was with her all the time. She was so precious to me and I loved holding her in my arms all the time. Now, when she's not on the set with me, I worry about her. My priority is my daughter and acting takes a back seat to that. I've never been comfortable with the idea of leaving my daughter to a babysitter when it comes to picking her up from school or being there to put her to bed at night".
Keira Knightley, who is dating her 'Pride and Prejudice' co-star Rupert Friend says that she never ever gets asked out on a date and insists she is never approached by prospective lovers and probably wouldn't even notice if she was.
She said: "I never get chatted up. Honestly, I don't! And I'm so stupid that I wouldn't even realize if I was. I sometimes get a look but that's about it!".

Angelina Jolie's ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton says that she's going through "high school phase" by dating Brad Pitt and says that "she'll soon wake up and leave him".
He then went on to add at the launch of his new album with 'The Boxmasters', "Who knows if I'll be there when she's ready to come to her senses though?".
Billy Bob and Angelina got married in 2000 after meeting on the movie set of 'Pushing Tin' and they divorced three years later with Angelina saying that they had both changed and "had nothing in common".
Liv Tyler was nicknamed 'Action Pants' after her pants ripped on the set of 'The Incredible Hulk'.
The actress was given the name because she repeatedly flashed her bare butt to her co-stars.
The film's director Louis Leterrier said, "I have a secret for you. it didn't happen on one occasion, it happened on several occasions where Liv's pants tore open. She definitely deserves her nickname! Her pants were very thin, but I love to put my actors in the real action, the real deal. Liv was getting torn. she was bruised from day one to the end. She liked it. She was like, 'Bring on the bruising' ".
Liv plays the part of Betty Ross who is the love interest of Norton's character Dr. Bruce Banner, who transforms himself into the Hulk when he gets angry and says. "I hate it when I go to see action movies and the girl looks fabulous the whole time with perfect lipstick, hair and make-up. You should look tired! Kate Beckinsale explained why there is no professional rivalry between her and Eva Longoria, "How could Eva and I be up for the same parts? She's tiny and I'm fascinated by tiny, little people. I haven't met her giant husband yet. Having said that, I feel like a giant. I've always felt a clunky girl. I could ski home on my feet!".
Kate is also good friends with Victoria Beckham, whom she met through Eva and says the former Spice Girls star is "a hoot".
She went on say to Britain's Glamour magazine, "I've been seeing a lot of Victoria Beckham. I met her through Eva Longoria and she seemed fun so I invited her to my husband Len's birthday party. Victoria is hilarious. That's the thing I like about her most. She's a hoot. She's also a very normal girl. We have a good laugh and it's great when suddenly people get your jokes and reference points. I had been missing an English friend with children who is my age. Len and David get on very well. Charlize Theron says that she wishes she could see people naked without them knowing, "I think it would be fun to see people naked. It could be scary as well. But it would be fun to be able to walk down the street and be able to see people nude without them knowing. I think that's the element that makes the difference. When we're nude we tend to suck it all in. Just to see some dude taking the garbage out would be good!".
